This post is just to let everybody know that I’ve now entirely switched operations from my old Gallery 2 installation to the very new and exciting Gallery 3. They’re still hammering out a few little last-minute issues, I think, but it’s certainly very functional and is so much faster than the old version.

I don’t think there’s a WordPress integration plug-in available yet, so it doesn’t have quite the same look as the old gallery. That’s fine – I’d rather it be fast and sleek than identical in appearance to this blog, the design of which I’m not even completely convinced by.

I’d been running the two galleries in parallel for the last month or two, but as of last night, Gallery 2 has been completely uninstalled and deleted. I had to go through my old blog posts and update all the image and text links to point to the new gallery, but that’s done now.

The reason I’m mentioning this at all is that I’d like you to if you notice any problems with the blog, specifically in the image department. I think I’ve fixed everything, but maybe not.
