A modern-day druid?
The other afternoon, after having registered ourselves with the UK’s National Health Service, Ori and I were walking down Headington’s Old High Street on our way into town. Along the way, we passed a house labeled “Richards Medical Centre”…
Here’s one other lighthearted observation we’ve made in our travels: Whenever you tell somebody that you’re Canadian, they invariably know somebody in (or have themselves been to) Vancouver. Always! Maybe only once has it been Toronto or Montreal, and it’s certainly never Halifax. But for whatever reason, Vancouver would seem to be the place that attracts Europeans like no other Canadian city. An assignment for our Canadian readers: next time you’re traveling in Europe (maybe elsewhere in the world, too), see if you find this to be the case.
Kyle: Oh look, there’s another doctor’s office. As it turns out, Dr Merlin Dunlop has his own website and has lived up to his name by pursuing, in addition to his work in medicine, a part-time career in magic. Good for him!
Ori: Yup.
Kyle (examining the sign): Is one of those doctors named Merlin?!
Ori: He’s a “traditional” healer.
